We supply tapestries directly to the public and keep overheads to a minimum to ensure savings can be passed on to our customers. Prices include VAT and free delivery in the U.K. For overseas customers, please enquire.

Delivery

Most of the tapestries are held in stock and delivery will normally be within 14 days. If we are unable to meet this delivery time we will advise you and no payment will be deducted until we have your agreement to any delay unless you have paid upfront via Paypal.

Sizes

Shown in centimetres, the first measurement refers to the 'drop' and the second to the 'width'. Sizes quoted include the border. Many of the smaller tapestries can be ordered with matching tabs/loops to allow for a pole, as an option to a sleeve on the reverse (see below). Add an extra 8cms to the 'drop' where tabs are required.

Composition

The smaller tapestries (up to 85 x 125cms) are woven in cotton. The larger tapestries are woven in cotton, wool, or a mixture of cotton, wool and acrylic.

Quality

Our tapestries are created with the greatest care and the finest materials. The dyes are resistant to oxidisation and the effects of sunlight. The tapestry prices are based on size, composition and quality of weave.

Hanging of Tapestries

The tapestries are backed in cotton fabric and supplied with a tunnel or sleeve at the top for a wooden batten or pole for fixing to the wall. Wooden battens should be cut just short of the total width of the tapestry and drilled and screwed at both ends. The tunnel or sleeve is cut back at both ends to conceal the tips of the batten. Where tapestries are supplied with tabs at the top, as an option, these should be fixed to the wall with a rod or pole. You may prefer tabs if you wish to make a feature of a decorative pole.

Care and Maintenence

The tapestries require no other maintenance other than a dry dusting with a soft brush. Should the case arise, creases should be steam-ironed from the front of the tapestry. If required, dry clean only.
